Who is this, anyway?

Marge Jorts Buckley grew up in Virginia, graduated from Boston's Emerson College in 2017 with a degree in Acting, and moved to Minneapolis in 2019. Marge is a co-founder of experimental theatre and arts group Commutator Collective, for which she currently serves as the Playwright-in-Residence. She is a frequent collaborator with Artists in Conversation.

Marge started showing and selling her paintings in 2022 with the help of her mentor, Hilary Greenstein. Her work has been shown in such places as North Suburban Arts and the Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center in Minnesota, Rountree Gallery in Wisconsin, and in various domestic locations. She paints out of a home studio.

Marge Jorts Buckley lives in Minneapolis, MN. This is occupied Dakota land.

Her plays, including Detective Chunk, Grainville Cereals Inc, The Earth Room, Phylloxera!, have been performed in Boston, Minneapolis, and New York City.
